Clean your face and apply, rubbing it on your face, ears, neck, and exposed areas until it disappears. Allow a few minutes for the product to dry before applying makeup or other products. Reapply every few hours for consistent protection. Regular use helps even out skin tone, fade dark spots, and enhance overall skin appearance. Use every day for best results.
We recommend incorporating Jstor Face Wash into your daily routine for regular cleansing. Additionally, include Jstor Face Scrub in your skincare regimen twice a week for deeper exfoliation and a refreshed feel.
Caution-
Discontinue use if irritation occurs; conduct a patch test before applying. Note that colour and fragrance may vary between batches. Store in a cool, dark, and dry place away from sunlight. The presence of natural ingredients may cause cloudiness or separation, which does not impact the quality or effectiveness of the product. When outdoors, shield the product Jar from direct sunlight with a towel or hanky. Always keep the lid on firmly, avoid eye contact, and use for EXTERNAL PURPOSES only.
Despite the belief that higher SPF means better protection, this product proves otherwise. SPF values above 40 provide marginal improvement in shielding without extending sun protection duration. Always opt for SPF 35 or 40 with PA++++ (4 times +) to ensure complete and effective protection for your skin.
The term “PA++++” in sunblock refers to the level of protection against UVA rays. The more plus signs, the higher the UVA protection. In this case, “PA++++” indicates the highest level of UVA protection, offering effective defence against skin aging and damage caused by UVA radiation from the sun.
SPF, or Sun Protection Factor, is a measure of how well a sunscreen protects against UVB rays, which are primarily responsible for causing sunburn. The SPF number indicates the level of protection, with higher numbers signifying more protection. For example, SPF 30 blocks about 97% of UVB rays, while SPF 50 blocks about 98%. It’s important to choose an SPF level based on your skin type, the intensity of sun exposure, and activities. Combining both UVA (PA+++) and UVB (SPF) protection helps shield your skin from the harmful effects of the sun.
Additional Information:
The terms “sunscreen” and “sunblock” are often used interchangeably, but there is a subtle difference in their meanings:
Sunscreen: Sunscreen refers to products that contain chemicals designed to absorb and dissipate UV radiation. These chemicals create a protective layer on the skin, allowing it to absorb UV rays and transform them into heat, which is then released from the body. Sunscreens are effective in preventing sunburn and protecting against both UVA and UVB rays.
Sunblock: Sunblock traditionally refers to physical blockers, like zinc oxide or titanium dioxide, which sit on the skin’s surface and physically reflect or scatter UV radiation. Sunblock provides a physical barrier that prevents UV rays from penetrating the skin. Modern sunscreens often combine chemical filters with physical blockers, and the term “sunblock” is less commonly used in favor of “sunscreen.”
In essence, the distinction is becoming less pronounced, and many products on the market now use a combination of chemical filters and physical blockers. Both sunscreens and sunblocks aim to protect the skin from the harmful effects of UV radiation. When choosing a product, it’s important to consider factors such as SPF, PA rating (for UVA protection), and your skin type to ensure effective sun protection.
